Alice C. Stubbs is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law. She earned her B.A. in Economics from Davidson College in 1989 and her J.D. from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1992, then clerked for Chief Bankruptcy Judge James B. Wolfe, Jr. She founded the Raleigh office of Stubbs Perdue and joined Tharrington Smith in 2006 after eight years as a Wake County District Court judge, primarily in family court. She has been course planner for Raleigh's annual family law CLE program since 2008.
