Marcus B. Connor earned a bachelor's degree from Boston College, majoring in economics and philosophy, and a J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, where he took part in Notre Dame's International Law Program and clerked with Baker McKenzie in London. He began his legal career as a Wayne County assistant prosecuting attorney, spending nine years in the trial division, including the homicide unit and community prosecution, before becoming a partner at Flood, Lanctot, Connor, Stablein, P.L.L.C. He later shifted his practice primarily to family law and, in 2013, co-founded the matrimonial law firm Connor & Connor, PLLC with Lisa Ryan Connor. Connor & Connor joined The Law Firm of John F. Schaefer in 2018.
