About
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to divorce. I believe the best decisions begin with understanding your options. My role is to provide the guidance, perspective, and counsel you need to make informed decisions and move forward with confidence. I founded Emmer Law because I believe clients deserve a more thoughtful, practical, and personalized approach to divorce and family law. When you hire Emmer Law, you hire me. From our first conversation through the resolution of your case, you'll work directly with me every step of the way. Every family is different. Every case is unique. Whether through mediation, collaborative divorce, or litigation, I help clients understand their options and curate the process that best fits their unique circumstances, priorities, and future. Before founding Emmer Law, I represented Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, insurance companies, and regional businesses in complex securities litigation and arbitration matters. That experience sharpened my strategic thinking, analytical approach, attention to detail, and negotiation skills—qualities I continue to bring to every family law matter today. My practice focuses on helping individuals and families navigate divorce through mediation, collaborative divorce, litigation when necessary, and strategically crafted pre-nuptial agreements. As a trained collaborative divorce professional, certified mediator, and experienced litigator, I understand that every client deserves an individualized approach—not a predetermined process that fails to reflect their unique circumstances, priorities, and what matters most to them. Clients often describe me as thoughtful, strategic, communicative, and genuine. I believe legal representation should combine strategic counsel with practical advice and clear communication, giving clients the information and perspective they need to move forward with confidence and clarity.
