Steven Buitron is a San Antonio native and general-practice attorney who previously worked as a university professor teaching Business Law and Political Science before entering private practice. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Public Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. He is a member of both the Texas and New York State Bar Associations and is admitted to the Federal District Courts in Texas and New York, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. He practiced law in New York for several years before returning to San Antonio in September 2016 to open his own practice.
